Zoo Questionnaire

Dear Sir / Madam,

You are invited to participate in research study conducted by Rosie Pringle as part of her honours project concerning the public perception of zoos and whether people think they’re mainly useful for educational and conservational purposes or just see zoos as a chance to see wild animals up close. The main purpose of the research is to see whether peoples opinions of zoos have advanced over the years as they used to mainly be used for entertainment however now all zoos in the UK are required to take part in breeding, conservation and education. I will be investigating whether socio-demographical factors such as age, gender, birth place and level of education have an impact on opinion.

The details of the person being questioned will be kept confidential and only institutions referred to where necessary. Participation is completely voluntary and you can withdraw at any time. You may choose not to answer specific questions and stop participating at any time whilst here.

By continuing you agree to participate in my research

I appreciate your time

Rosie
