Dry shutoff control valves are used to start and stop the flow of pressurized water to the nozzle of a waterjet system while keeping the pressure in the supply line at the system’s working pressure. Because the system remains pressurized, the operation of dry shutoff systems carries some unique safety considerations.
To help guide WJTA Training and Certification program development, we are asking for your feedback to determine the prevalence and training needs around dry shutoff equipment. Responses will be anonymized, and a summary of survey results will be shared in WJTA Jet News.
