"Safe Water" Mentoring Programme Application Form

The "Safe Water" Mentoring programme is part of the ReNutriWater project which addresses freshwater scarcity and eutrophication in the Baltic Sea Region by reclaiming wastewater as a sustainable resource. The project focuses on producing safe, nutrient-rich reclaimed water for non-potable uses like irrigation, street cleaning, and recreational areas, reducing reliance on artificial fertilisers and mitigating environmental risks. Through three pilot initiatives, ReNutriWater tests disinfection methods, nutrient composition adjustments, and safe reuse applications, collaborating with partners across Poland, Finland, Latvia, and Denmark. By providing cost-benefit analyses and business models, the project promotes circular economy practices and supports policy development to advance sustainable water management in Europe.

The programme focuses on:

- Direct participants to viable water recovery and nutrient solutions.

- Stimulate creativity and innovation.

- Build sustainable and circular business models.

- Raise awareness of water reuse.

- Assist in the development of Action Plans for implementing water reuse solutions.
