Low cost airlines focus on price reduction, offering only limited range of pre-flight and on-board services. Examples are Ryanair, Easyjet, Wizzair, Jet2.

Full service airlines focus on providing a wide range of pre-flight and on-board services including different service classes and connection flights. Examples are KLM, British Airways, Air France, Iberia, Scandinavian airlines (SAS).
